Jesuits are there.
“Wherever in the Church, even in the most dangerous and exposed fields, in the crossroads of ideologies, in the social trenches, there has been or is confrontation between the burning exigencies of humanity and the perennial message of the Gospel, there have been and are the Jesuits.”

The month of November has been designated as a special time for Jesuit Vocation Promotion. Jesuit communities and apostolates worldwide are coordinating promotion events and gatherings. PRAYER: Father of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you have called all people to engage the crucial struggle of our time: the struggle for faith, justice and love. Set aflame the hearts of men to join this mission as companions in the Society of Jesus. May we always encourage the people of God to listen to the promptings of the Spirit. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Come and See Event for persons interested in considering religious life as a vocation will be hosted by Fr. Rocco Danzi, SJ, and the Xavier Jesuit Community in conjunction with the Archdiocese of New York on December 6. Anyone interested in attending is invited to register.

The Future of Religious Life, by Timothy Radcliffe, OP: "Our vocation as religious is more important than ever before. We are called to be signs of hope for humanity. We can only be a sign of hope for a generation that is living through a crisis if we are able to confront our crises with joy and serenity, as moments of grace and new life."
